Program Description
The NPHY Drop-In Center (DIC) is a safe and welcoming space for unaccompanied homeless youth ages 12–20 in Southern Nevada. More than just a refuge, the DIC meets young people’s immediate needs with food, clothing, hygiene supplies, bus passes, showers, laundry, and secure storage, while also offering a pathway toward long-term stability. Youth can access licensed social workers for case management, therapy, life skills classes, educational and employment support, and housing connections, as well as recreational and creative outlets like a multimedia studio, computer lab, activity rooms, and even a half-basketball court. With its full-service kitchen and pantry, clothing and hygiene resources, and supportive staff, the DIC provides both the essentials to survive today and the tools to build independence for tomorrow.
